In proper (and shameful!) blogging fashion, I’m announcing my first hiatus after, yes, less than a week of launching the website. That’s right. I am flaky, screen phone calls, and entertain lifeless conversation for the prospect of a free drink. Unfortunately, a few med school exams are looming on the horizon and require the kind of grave babysitting that initiates the brutal rape of ingenuity and self-reflection. But! I will be back on November 8th with new posts and most importantly, a shiny banner that will encompass all my hopes and dreams. Subsequently, the three of you who currently read this website will mushroom into an empire of readers with stocks and shares!
I should also note that this post is a disgrace to any (any!) song by written by Stars. They are a band that is glorious and triumphant and composed primarily of climactic pinks and whirling dervishes that explode in fireworks of splendor on brisk February mornings. Something like that. And this song in particular, is one I can listen to past the point of night where I believe myself to be the only one, in all the world, that is still awake. Where the camera pans out quickly and spins from the microchip of a city, through the froth of a cloud, and head-first into a star at the edge of the galaxy, the one you unknowingly named after your first girlfriend.
Stay tuned.

Nicole added these pithy words on Aug 01 08 at 2:56 amSo you should def quit medschool and become a writer…I’m thinking of quitting writing myself sometimes for hopes of doing something I may be actually good at…
thebluescarf added these pithy words on Aug 02 08 at 6:55 pmNatasha: You’re the best.
Nicole: Haha, I don’t believe quiting med school is an option but thanks for the kind words. And I don’t think you should stop writing. Never!
An admirer added these pithy words on Dec 01 08 at 4:27 amUpon reading all of the posts up to this point: Admiration with a hint of jealousy. That’s all I can rightly say. Any other description of my perception would lead to repetitious adulation. But I digress. Admiration with a hint of jealousy.
